Continuous Improvement & QA Manager

You will ultimately be responsible for leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives for our entire business unit and ongoing projects at our clients. We absolutely love someone with a lean and personal coaching approach to QA leadership, who enables the development and success of lean processes over time. Somebody who talks business, but can also understand the daily struggles of software developers and ICT teams.

Wat jij zal doen:

  • Firstly, you will get to know our client’s business inside and out, gaining a deep understand of their products and processes. Having knowledge of organizational behaviour and software engineering will enable you to comprehend what we do and how we do it, leading you to short, mid and long term continuous improvement tracks that you will manage E2E.
  • We would like you to be confident and challenge organizational leaders, to create an action-biased culture of continuous improvement and accountability. This will allow us to improve OKR’s , including business growth, productivity, asset utilization, QA- and software delivery strategy.
  • You will work closely with leadership and management to accelerate client satisfaction, overall collaboration, ICT quality and financial savings.
  • Your role is responsible for leadership and development of programs that will educate your direct reports (internal and client-side) about lean concepts that lead to the identification, development, and implementation of improvements. Typical improvement activity will result in improved quality, software delivery, reduced time-to-market and cost reductions.
  • You will lead, direct and facilitate ongoing lean improvement processes using techniques such as A3, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Scrum, Pacing Boards, Gemba etc.
  • You provide lean improvement orientation and on-the-job training for teammates (internal and client-side) and ensure that the responsibilities are defined and understood whilst you oversee multiple lean projects for various clients in Belgium and (occasionally) The Netherlands.
  • Your passion for quality will allow you to teach and actively coach others to lead improvement efforts, including training on effective tools for successful (agile) project leadership.
  • Reporting on improvement activities and establishing metrics to monitor wins/savings, compared to established goals and targets. You will also develop and maintain annual value stream mapping efforts, improvement funnels and calendars.

Wat jij hebt:

  • Full working knowledge of Lean Concepts with demonstrated success, with ideally 5+ years of Continuous Improvement and Lean Software Delivery but we love diversity here at Azenium, so if you think you have what it takes, please do not hesitate do apply!
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus
  • Proven analysis and presentation skills including use of common tools such as, Miro, Padlet, Jira, Celonis, Databox, HubSpot, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Minimum of 5 years IT/Software experience preferred, you need to have a solid understanding of how modern software projects are being done. (Agile Teams, SaaS, Cloud, CI/CD, DevOps, Product Management, Product Ownership etc.)
  • We seek fluent Dutch skills and English, French would be a plus.
