Continuous Improvement & QA Manager

You will ultimately be responsible for leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives across our business unit and ongoing projects at our clients. What you will do:

  • First, you will get to know our client’s business inside and out, gaining a deep understanding of their products and processes. With your knowledge of organizational behavior and software engineering, you understand what we do and how we do it, leading to short-, medium- and long-term continuous improvement paths that you manage E2E.
  • We would like you to be confident and challenge organizational leaders to create an action-oriented culture of continuous improvement and accountability. This allows us to improve OKRs, including business growth, productivity, resource utilization, QA and software delivery strategy.
  • You will work closely with leadership and management to accelerate customer satisfaction, overall collaboration, ICT quality and financial savings.
  • Your role is responsible for the leadership and development of programs that educate your direct employees (internal and customer side) on lean concepts that lead to the identification, development and implementation of improvements. Typical improvement activities will lead to better quality, software delivery, shorter time-to-market and cost savings.
  • You will lead, direct and facilitate ongoing lean improvement processes using techniques such as A3, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Scrum, Pacing Boards, Gemba, etc.
  • You provide lean improvement orientation and on-the-job training for teammates (internal and client side) and ensure responsibilities are defined and understood while overseeing multiple lean projects for various clients in Belgium and (occasionally) the Netherlands.
  • Your passion for quality enables you to teach and actively coach others to lead improvement efforts, including training on effective tools for successful (agile) project leadership.
  • Report on improvement activities and establish metrics to monitor gains/savings against established goals and targets. You will also develop and maintain annual value stream mapping efforts, improvement funnels and calendars.

What you have:

  • Full working knowledge of Lean Concepts with demonstrated success, with ideally 5+ years of Continuous Improvement and Lean Software Delivery, but we love diversity here at Azenium, so if you think you have what it takes, don’t hesitate to apply!
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus
  • Proven analysis and presentation skills, including use of common tools such as Miro, Padlet, Jira, Celonis, Databox, HubSpot, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum 5 years IT/Software experience preferred, you must have a good understanding of how modern software projects are done. (Agile Teams, SaaS, Cloud, CI/CD, DevOps, Product Management, Product Ownership, etc.).
  • We are looking for fluent Dutch and English, French is a plus.
