Matthias participated in the SAFe SPC (Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant) training at the Gladwell Academy in Amsterdam two weeks ago. He shared his experiences and insights from this training with us.

My agile transformation started a long time ago with the SCRUM framework but I noticed that in reality you quickly hit the limits of the framework.

Have no fear SAFe is here the magical allsolving world improvement framework, no it is not but it is a solution to the complexity that lives in most IT projects. A different way of thinking, SAFe confirmed my views on agile and agility in the sense that it is a mindswitch that needs to come to a lot of enterprises rather than a framework that provides control and this in the broadest sense of the word.

I especially hope that I can use the obtained knowledge to guide many clients to business agility, in this changing world where it seems that you are constantly behind the times to keep up with the “market” it is important to keep asking the right questions, perform the correct measurements and constantly want to improve yourself (as a company or as a person). Business agility is obtained through torough inspection and adaptation.
